Eric Hershkowitz has been playing Dobro since 1978 and has played in and around Bakersfield since 1980 with bluegrass bands, country bands, duets and trios. He has "sat in" with many local artists and bands. Eric is experienced in, available for, stage or studio playing and able to fit the Dobro (lap slide style) into nearly any musical genre. Equipped for both acoustic or "plugged in" settings and has his own equipment. Eric has performed regularly over the last 14 years with his eclectic acoustic trio, "Slideways" and has been providing accompaniment to local country artist, J Parson for the last six years..
